Travis Young specializes in auto accident cases, trucking accidents, premises liability, dog bite, catastrophic injury, and bad faith cases. Mr. Young has obtained several seven-figure verdicts and settlements. In 2021, Mr. Young obtained one of the top ten personal injury verdicts in Colorado. Mr. Young has also successfully resolved nearly one thousand claims and was previously in charge of the pre-litigation unit at a prior firm. He has been selected for Super Lawyers® 2024-2025.
Mr. Young has dedicated his entire legal career to representing victims and continues to fight for victims and secure compensation for their personal injury claims in Denver. Mr. Young began his legal career as a Deputy District Attorney in El Paso County, Colorado. During his time as a Deputy District Attorney, he tried numerous jury trials to verdict, served as the Domestic Violence Deputy District Attorney in County Court, and was a prosecutor on the Vehicular Homicide Team. Mr. Young served as a Deputy District Attorney for three years until he moved to Denver, Colorado and accepted a position as a Senior Assistant Attorney General at the Office of the Attorney General for the State of Colorado. As a Senior Assistant Attorney General, Mr. Young was responsible for prosecuting felony cases involving insurance fraud, mortgage fraud, organized crime, workers’ compensation fraud, securities fraud, thefts involving licensed insurance producers, and thefts involving licensed bondsmen. Mr. Young also served as a legal advisor for the Colorado Gang unit at that time.
Mr. Young received his undergraduate degrees at the University of Colorado at Boulder. He graduated with distinction with degrees in Finance and Human Resources Management. Upon graduation, Mr. Young attended the University of Colorado School of Law at Boulder and obtained his Juris Doctorate in 2003.
